2015 Henry Ellenson

2015 Henry Ellenson
6’9″ Forward

LNH Notes: You may hear Ellenson called a center by some, but that’s selling him short. Physically he looks the part and he can certainly battle on the blocks, but his skill and athletic ability sets him far apart from other kids his size.

Henry is an excellent shooter with plenty of range well past the three-point line, but has also worked on developing his game on the blocks. Over the next few years he should be able to continue adding to his arsenal of offensive weapons, which is a scary thought for teams trying to defend him. (10/25/12)

Ellenson can do many things very well. In college will find his best fit where he is able to utilize his versatile offensive skills – both inside and out. Has the build for it, but he’s not a low-post center. As he improves his ball handling and conditioning, he’ll become that much better. Can be a special, special player. (7/20/13)

+ Plays for Rice Lake high school (Wisc.) and D1 Minnesota
+ Henry has participated in the USA Basketball program
+ Oldest brother Wally is a rising sophomore (2013-14) at the University of Minnesota
+ June 2013 rankings: 29, 43, 41 (average of 37.7). We believe these are too low and that Henry’s rankings will improve over the next year. Easily a top 30 prospect, potential to be even better. Legit.
+ LNH has seen in person.
